Review: EscapeXperience Dallas

Updated: Aug 20, 2021

Our game master was the game designer. He seemed like a great guy. He had great intentions and some good ideas, but he didn't have the resources or time to create good rooms.

My brother (Billy) and four other family members did two rooms at EscapeXperience: The Royal Heist and Stage Call. In addition, the game master gave us a tour of the other rooms because we told him we were from out of town and wouldn't be back.

Stage Call

Mike's Difficulty Rating: 1 (out of 5)

Their Difficulty Rating: Medium

Please don't waste your money on this generation one room.

We actually broke the record for this room and finished it in less than 30 minutes with 1 clue.

The Royal Heist

Mike's Difficulty Rating: 2 (out of 5)

Their Difficulty Rating: Easy

This room was much better than stage call. It had three areas and a very fun laser obstacle and a few generation two (electronic puzzles/locks), but the lack of excellence in immersion/decor was hard to ignore.

We finished this room in 45 minutes with 2 clues.
